About Magnolia Steel
Magnolia Steel is a band based in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood. We came together through our love for playing music and combining our talents to create original songs that raise awareness and tell stories.
Stacy Smedley is a true singer-songwriter, with over 50 original songs under her belt and a love for creating compelling lyrics. She began playing guitar at the age of 16 and immediately began writing her own music.
Lisa Gemme is a talented guitarist, with abilities that allow her to take a song’s chords and create her own layer of guitar melody to enrich its sound. She is also Magnolia Steel’s chief harmony vocalist.
Rick Krejci is a talented lead guitarist, harp player and artist. He provides the final layer of magic to Magnolia Steel’s music through his original guitar and harmonica licks. He is also our resident artist, creating art for our posters and albums.
